Especially after red rain or dusty period, its important to flush of the Sahara sand because the sun can make them to hot crystal that burns and damage gelcoat, acrylic windows, sprayhood and cockpit enclosure windows and outdoor upholstery.
But also regular proper wash and wiping of stainless steel and windows is advisable to keep your boat looking good and well maintained.
If your boat has teak deck sealer, then its important to reseal in time. Otherwise you might have to start the hole process with heavy cleaner, brightener and 2 layers of sealer again and every time it takes some teak off.
